Position Title: Implementation Manager
Reports To: Territory Manager, Implementation Manager (for projects only)

Position Summary
The assigned person’s responsibilities include:
- Managing our involvement in Implementation projects, scheduling our resources and liaising with the customer Project Manager and Project Team.
- Providing advice to customers about managing their projects and encouraging them to follow our GOLD methodology, wherever possible.
- Developing processes for both Time & Materials and Fixed Price projects, for the planning, estimation and control of such projects to avoid time and cost over-runs.
- Monitoring the work and performance of the Consultants and conducting their annual performance reviews.
- Performing account management services, in conjunction with Sales staff, where the customer is live on our platform
- Assisting the Sales team with customer contract negotiations.
- Requesting invoicing for all training and consulting services provided to customers.
- Receiving constant mentoring and training from the Implementation Manager, who will provide regular feedback and performance assessments.
- Achieving a level of spoken English allowing fluent and accurate communication with other English speaking staff.

- Managing our involvement in Implementation projects, scheduling resources and liaising with the customer Project Manager and Project Team.
- Schedule projects to achieve the following goals:
- Meet customer deadlines and customer satisfaction
- Maximise our consulting revenue (not to the detriment of project success)
- Meet the consultant’s travel expectations and the company’s policy on travel
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews for projects
- Providing advice to customers about managing their projects and encouraging them to follow our product methodology.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of our produts and how best to implement LIMS
- Maintain sufficient product knowledge to provide valued input into project estimation, scheduling, risk management and cost control
- Provide timely advice to customers
- Projects are run following our advice or they are advised when they are proceeding against our advice
- Developing processes for T&M, Fixed Price projects, for the planning, estimation and control of such projects to avoid time and cost over-runs.
- Review of consultants estimates
- Ensure the customer has acceptable requirements, change control, defect management and other processes in place
- Increase estimates in line with the risk that we accept for the fixed price
- Monitor our performance against estimates on a regular basis
- In conjunction with the lead consultant, manage the change control process
- Ensure the customer has engagement in the project so that long term support of the site is achievable
- Monitoring the work and performance of the Consultants and conducting their annual reviews.
- Schedule performance evaluations for all our consultants
- Documented performance evaluation that reviews previous performance and recommends improvements where required
- Performing account management services, in conjunction with Sales staff, where the customer is live on our LIMS
- Thorough understanding of each clients’ needs and attitudes
- Generate additional revenue through regular customer contact
- Maintain records of customer contact
- Receiving constant mentoring and training from the Implementation Manager, who will provide regular feedback and quarterly performance reviews.
- Escalate concerns or issues with implementation projects or processes in a timely fashion
- Provide honest input into the quarterly review process
- Achieving a level of spoken English allowing fluent and accurate communication with other English speaking staff.
- Complete scheduled English language courses
- Ensure that the required level of English is achieved through constant practise

Essential Experience
- Experience in Project Management 5+ years (software development projects)
- Experience in Pharma industry 3+ years
- Experience working in or with appropriate Laboratories 3+ years.
Desired Experience
- Education in Chemistry/Laboratory LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) field
- I.T. experience, preferably in the Laboratory area
- Experience in managing the implementation of LIMS
