[Responsibilities]

The scope of work includes all operational and business activities to successfully manage a team of telemarketing staff and assist in the delivery of legendary service to our entire customer base.  The ideal candidate will work closely with the Manager of Customer Success Group (i.e., Field Services), the Manager of Business Development (i.e., Account Sales), field service engineers and sales representatives.

  • Identify and assess business opportunities and create strategies to address those opportunities.
  • Develop business model and implementation strategies for entire service business.
  • Develop business and support existing customers to meet or exceed revenue contributions towards company goals and initiatives.
  • Applies expert knowledge and understanding across all related functional disciplines.
  • Ensuring that the service response and repair expectations for both the customer and company are met or exceeded.
  • Ensuring all field service metrics and escalation process are conducted accurately and within company guidelines.

 [Requirements]

Education:    B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or related sciences is required; Advanced degree in the sciences or management is a plus

Expertise/Personal Skills/Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in managing people with a proven ability to retain, train, and motivate a team
  • Previous HPLC / LCMS field experience is a plus.  Additional experience in Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Informatics, and Laboratory experience is also a plus.
  • Must work effectively in collaboration with a team of peers to deliver differentiated field service solutions to various industry markets
  • Outstanding communication & inter-personal skills along with the ability to remain calm under pressure & work in a concise, clear manner
  • Native level Japanese
  • Fluent or business level English
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Commitment to quality output
  • Continual process improvement
